"My Geopress, is a fantastic piece of kit that I use daily replacing the need for disposable plastic bottles of water. I use my Geopress exclusively in my travel from Colombia to the United States and everywhere in between. Most recently the Geopress provided safe drinking for me and my family in the most devastating areas of Colombia affected by the 7. 4 earthquake. Our friends were so impressed we actually bought them 2 complete sets of Geopress 24oz bottles with additional filters to use on their finca."

RV Drinking Water
"We are frequent RV travelers. Never know what's coming out of those spigots. We double filter the potable water, but dont trust dubious sources for drinking. Also got tired of purchasing bottled water."

Good system- Removes Viruses
"Removing viruses is the big draw. Quality parts that stand up to outdoor usage. This is a perfect set up for fresh water supply to 1-2 people for a trip. I have used it for 3-4 people on a trip but it took a few fill ups. Minor inconvenience for "free" water in my opinion. I recommend it but wait for a deal day to get a reasonable price."

Outstanding Product
"I purchased this after a good friend recommended trying it out. I used it on a 3 day backpacking trip with no issues. I used various water sources from a river to a trickle of water that crossed a dirt trail (It turned the water from brown to clear and tasted great). This will definitely be a piece of equipment that I’ll use on many more hikes."

Love this thing
"I’ve been using a different type of filter where you typically use a CNOC bag or similar to fill with dirty water then attach the filter and squeeze into your clean container. I love that this takes the place of the other system while being a nice drinking vessel as well. Additionally, it’s much easier to fill than the awkward annoying bags. A few friends have been using the Grayl for some time now and I finally joined the bandwagon. So much more superior to the other options in terms of ease of use and versatility. Two thumbs up for Grayl."

Great Filter
"I was super excited to use my new Grayl filter on my first backpacking trip in Colorado this past weekend. It was pretty easy to use and I loved being able to drink good tasting filtered water without worrying about viruses. The only two issues: it can be difficult to pull the fill cup back off the filter because of the water/suction pressure between the filter and the cup; it's also not the lightest piece of equipment, but it works great. Glad I was able to get one and would recommend."

Backpacking with Grayl Geopress
"I have used several different water purifiers when backpacking. Their design uses a pump to push water through a filter. These filters are good, but a pump failure would be a major issue during a backpacking trip. The design of the Grayl is much more reliable. No pump to break! It uses your own body weight to press water through the filter. Carrying a Grayl Geopress and an extra filter ensures I have a trustworthy method to purify water during my backpacking trip."

Great for backpacking in areas with lots of water
"It's heavy, but I can offset the extra weight by simply carrying 1/2 liter less water in my bladder or other water bottles. The water filtered with my Grayl tastes great. It does get much harder to press after the first 100 presses or so, which is why I've knocked a star off, but it's still pretty quick and convenient."

"I ordered this ten days before a hunting trip. It showed up the day after I left. Fir some reason you shipped it UPS then it was transferred to the postal service for delivery. If you would have just shipped it all the way using ups it would have got here in time now it’s going to sit on the shelf for a year until next hunting season"
