Six clapets anti-retour empêchent le reflux de l'eau(ou d'autres boissons) à travers la cartouche tout en laissant passer de l'eau filtrée propre à travers la cartouche dans la presse intérieure.
Facile à retirer pour l'entretien et la réutilisation entre deux utilisations.Séchez soigneusement la cartouche humide en la pressant dans un godet extérieur vide (sans eau), puis videz l'excédent d'eau. Retirez la valve unidirectionnelle et laissez la cartouche sécher complètement à l'air libre (selon l'humidité, le séchage complet peut prendre de 2 à 4 jours). Nettoyez et séchez la valve unidirectionnelle, puis remontez la bouteille GeoPress.
La valve unidirectionnelle passe au lave-vaisselle.Nettoyez régulièrement la valve entre chaque utilisation pour éliminer les odeurs et les résidus de poudre ou de boissons. Lavez-la à la main avec de l'eau chaude savonneuse ou au lave-vaisselle. N'exposez pas la cartouche à du savon ou à tout autre produit nettoyant.

"Backpacked the Paria Canyon using the filter from the few springs along the 40 mile hike. It worked great but it takes longer than 8-10 seconds as they state. More like 25-30 seconds and that’s from clear water and a new cartridge."
