"One of the best purchases I’ve made in a while. Just got back from a fly fishing trip out west where we fished the south fork of the snake, silver creek, and wind river canyon. It was nice to just refill my bottle any time I needed to trip on water tethering than having to go to the truck for it. I was filling up everyone else’s bottle to the point I think I am buying all my friends one"

I already had one.
"I already had one along with another friend of mine. We took it out camping, and it allowed all of us plus our six kids between the two of us to drink water cleanly. Then, I started taking it to work And the guys in the field we do commercial roofing. Keep running out of water while doing repairs or open work. But there's always a ready source of puddles or cold water coming out of an a c unit that needs to be cleaned to drink. So we all put our money together to buy twelve of them and it has worked out amazingly."

"I typically write my reviews based on reward systems from manufactures/sellers. However, I decided to go forward and write a short one on this cup. Overall, the cup is fairly nice. Some mild taste to the water, but not terrible like others I have tried. I really like the one way valve that comes with this item. I do wish I would have spent the little extra and got the new version so I could boil some water in it. I think that cup would be a great cup to review. The instructions are relatively easy. Fill the cup, apply steady consistent pressure, and then you have a small cup of filtered water afterwards. The green color I ordered, I really like. It has blended in with the rest of my gear and has found a home on the bag for the time being. The cup is a little pricey for what it is, but so far it has good results. I hope to one day try the titanium version."

"You need to have an engineer or mechanics mind to know how to use this. I read the directions tried to find videos and the user experience for people who aren't mechanical is a very high barrier. Thank God my sister is an engineer or I would own a $100 water bottle I'd never be able to use except as a regular water bottle"

Need to return it
"We just received two of them in time for our vacation. It’s extremely difficult to open the top chamber to fill the bottom chamber and to get the two pieces back together again. You need superhuman strength and you need to have a stable table to press both pieces together. This is not something that’s easy to do when you’re on the go. It takes too much effort. We found that we can literally only refill them in the hotel room. Too difficult when we are out and about. Cannot wait to return when we get back from vacation. We’re just not able to use it anymore. Too much effort. I feel like I’m gonna get carpal tunnel!"
